EAST STROUDSBURG, PA: For the past four years, Trackside Grill & Bar, located at 50 Crystal Street in East Stroudsburg, has hosted an annual fundraiser known as Track Gives Back. The event brings awareness and raises funds for a local Monroe County charity chosen by the Trackside management team and their event sponsor, Tepsi Print.

In 2017, Trackside was able to fundraise over $2,000 for the Stroudsburg Area Police Department; in 2018, they fundraised over $3,000 for Women’s Resources of Monroe County; and last year they fundraised over $4,000 for AWSOM Animal Shelter.

This year, the committee chose to give back to Pocono Mountains United Way. “We are so grateful to have been chosen as the recipient of the 4th annual Track Gives Back put on by the awesome teams at Trackside and Tepsi” explained Pocono Mountains United Way Director of Development, Ryan Lohman.

United Way

Pocono Mountains United Way is all about bringing people together to make our community a better place by assisting individuals and families in need in Monroe County through increased collaboration, efficiency and impact.

The 4th Annual Track Gives back was hosted at Trackside on Sunday, January 19th from 12pm to 5pm. The event was proudly sponsored by Trackside, Tepsi Print, Iron Mule Restaurant & Bar, Pocono Mountains Visitor Bureau, AmeriHealth Caritas Northeast and East Stroudsburg University.

“We were also very thankful to have the support of the Monroe County Realtor community who came out to support the Guest Realtor Bartenders at the event” says Lohman. During the event, a duo from a local real estate team stepped behind the bar to raise the most amount of tips to benefit the Pocono Mountains United Way. Realtors included: JJ Astrowsky and Reede Doran of Remax Crossroads, Don Hannig and Troy Nauman of Spread Eagle, Bob and Stacey Kelly of Kelly Williams, Christine and Paul Harvell of Century 21 and Christine Wilkins and Jimmy Knowles of Better Homes and Gardens.

This year, Track Gives Back was able to fundraise $8,223 for Pocono Mountains United Way. Fundraising efforts were a result of a combination of sponsors, tricky tray items, a donation from ShawneeCraft Brewery for every ShawneeCraft beer sold and a donation from Trackside of 20% of the gross profits from food sales during the event. “This year was the biggest Track Gives Back event and we couldn’t be more proud to give back to such an amazing organization. With nearly doubling our donation total from years past, this just gets our team more excited for the years to come!” exclaims Tepsi Marketing Director, Carolyn Walker.
